On Friday,
April 19th, both first grade classes will be traveling to Sioux City
to the Abu Bekr Shrine Circus. We will
be attending the 11:30 a.m. performance.
Tickets have been provided by several Wakefield businesses.
We will be
leaving the school at approximately 9:45 a.m. and will arrive in Sioux City at
about 10:30. Please pack a sensible LUNCH
for your student. We will eat early on
the bus then find our seats in the Tyson Event Center and prepare ourselves for
an exciting time!
During the
performance, your child will be given an opportunity to buy one of several
souvenirs or treats. If your child would
like a souvenir or treat, we ask that you send NO MORE THAN $5.00. Your first grader will be responsible for
his/her own money! We will not be riding
the elephants – please discuss this with your first grader. Thank you!
We will head
back to Wakefield at about 2:30 pm
and usually arrive at school in time to pack-up and go home.
