2013-2014 School Year is Around the Corner

ABC’s of First Grade

A new year, a different classroom, and an excited teacher are waiting for you!
Before you come, make sure you have everything you will need!
Come to the “Meet & Greet”, August 13th, 5-6:30 p.m.

Drop off your school supplies and put money in your lunch account.

Expect all kinds of new experiences!

FIRST GRADERS ARE FANTASTIC!

Get to school by 8:00 each morning!

Home time will be at 3:35 each day!

Imagination makes learning fun!

Just make sure you get a good night’s sleep every night!

Keep checking your book bag for important notes!

Learning how to read is the greatest thing about first grade!

Mrs. Hoffart is your teacher’s name!

Need to read your mini-book each night!

Our year will fly by so fast!

PE shoes are required to keep our gymnasium nice and clean.

Questions are a good way to learn more!  So, ask them!

Respect and Responsibility are our focus this year!

So we can all get along and learn!
Talk to your parents about what you want to learn this year!
Understand that school is very important!  Come every day!
Vocabulary is going to help us learn to read!
We have sharing each day so we can learn more about each other!
EXercise makes your brain work!

You’ll be a part of a learning class!
A to Z – First Grade . . . YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I’ll see you on August 13th!
Your teacher, Mrs. Hoffart
